Amazon.com This diamond has great brilliance and sparkle. Unlike the promotional quality offered by many retailers, which often have visible inclusions and opaque or yellow-brown color, this diamond is near colorless, with a minimum color rating of I, and appear white to the eye. It has a clarity rating of at least I1, meaning there are small inclusions that are difficult to see with the unaided eye. The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamond--characteristics which determine their brilliance--is fair to good. Most of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, creating the deep brightness, or brilliance, that gives diamonds their special appeal. The table percentage for this diamond, meaning the width of the table compared to the diamonds total width, is 50-71%, and the depth percentage, or total height of the diamond compared to its total width, is 56.5-67%. Optimal table and depth percentages maximize a diamonds ability to reflect and refract light, but they also require a great deal of the diamond to be cut away, leaving less carat weight. While the table and depth percentages here span a broader range than those of higher quality diamonds, they still allow the diamond to handle the light well, and they have the advantage of providing the largest size of diamond for the value.

Amazon.com This is a fine quality diamond, with exceptional brilliance. It is near-colorless, with a minimum color rating of H, and appears white to the eye. The clarity rating of this diamond is Sl1-2, meaning there are small inclusions that can be seen somewhat easily under 10x magnification. These inclusions are not visible to the unaided eye, however, and the diamond appears clear in the mounting. The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamond--characteristics which determine their brilliance--is good to very good. Most to nearly all of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, creating the deep brightness, or brilliance, that gives diamonds their special allure. The table percentage for this diamond, meaning the width of the table compared to the diamonds total width, is 50.4-65.5%, and the depth percentage, or total height of the diamond compared to its total width, is 57.5-64.5%. Optimal table and depth percentages maximize a diamonds ability to reflect and refract light, but they also require a great deal of the diamond to be cut away, leaving less carat weight. While the table and depth percentages here span a slightly broader range than those of higher quality diamonds, they still allow the diamond to handle the light beautifully, and they have the advantage of offering a beautiful balance of size and quality for the value. ![]() | Asin: B0000U07QW Catlog: Watch Manufacturer: Amazon.com Collection US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France | Japan |

Amazon.com Product Description These are exceptional quality diamonds. With a minimum G color rating, the center diamond is in the upper-most range of near-colorless and appears dazzling white to the eye. It has a minimum clarity of VS2, meaning there are very small inclusions that are difficult to see under 10x magnification, and impossible to see with the unaided eye. The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamonds are excellent to ideal, allowing maximum brilliance and fire. Nearly all of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, providing exceptional brilliance. The table percentage for these diamonds, meaning the width of the table compared to the diamonds total width, is 60-75%, and the depth percentage, or total height of the diamond compared to its total width, is 65-78%. These excellent proportions allow angles that break light into rainbow colors, producing the dispersion or fire that makes diamonds so alluring.

Product Description Reviews (3)
For all of the torment I've put my girlfriend through during our seven weeks of dating, I wanted to show the future Mrs. chatchi how special she is to me, and get her something as beautiful and valuable as she is. When purchasing a diamond, it's important to remember "The Five C's" -- clarity, color, caret, cut and chatchi. Clarity determines the amount of flaws the diamond has, and they are ranked from "flawless" to "possibly visible to the naked eye".The more flawless the diamond, the more expensive. So, since my girlfriend is not exactly an angel, I decided to go with something right in the middle -- slightly flawed. Color is pretty self-explanatory -- the clearer the diamond, the more expensive.Get something a little off-color (like my girlfriend), and you save a few bucks. So, I ended up getting a champagne colored diamond, to match her favorite drink (and her most recent hair color). Caret is the size of the diamond. This is where things can get tricky. If your girl ever tells you that size doesn't matter, she's probably telling the truth... except when talking about diamonds.Girls like big diamonds so they can show them off to all of their friends at Dairy Queen.Personally, chatchi doesn't feel comfortable letting his soon-to-be wife walk around with a big hunk of glass on her hand.Between her clumsiness and her tendency to get into bar fights, chatchi is going with the 1/10 caret diamond.Just to be safe. Many people make the mistake of thinking that cut means the shape of the diamond. Not true! The cut is actually the way the diamond was faceted to allow light to reflect from it.chatchi doesn't really know what that means, but I think it has something to do with how much it sparkles in the light.Since I don't want my girl to wear anything that's going to attract the attention of other guys, I decided to go with only a sort of sparkly diamond. With chatchi being the last "C", all that was left to do was buy the ring that would symbolize my love for my girl. After spending a lot of time researching rings, I'm confident that I've found the almost perfect diamond ring, for the almost perfect girl, right here on Amazon.com.With a price tag more attractive than my girl (even on a good day), I couldn't pass up this offer. Sorry, ladies... but chatchi is about to be off the market. ... Read more
