Amazon.com Product Description

This beautiful ring is a romantic way to recognize an engagement, anniversary, or any other special occasion. The 14k white gold cathedral-style band is wide with shoulders that branch up to rest right below the diamond’s girdle. These two extensions beyond the band’s diameter give the ring a regal appearance when viewed from the side. The gorgeous centerpiece princess-cut solitaire diamond is held securely in a 4-prong setting and has a 1-1/4 carat total weight. The 14k white gold band has a high polish finish and a comfortable fit.

This is an exceptional quality diamond. With a minimum G color rating, they are in the upper-most range of near-colorless and appear dazzling white to the eye. They have a minimum clarity of VS2, meaning there are very small inclusions that are difficult to see under 10x magnification, and impossible to see with the unaided eye.

The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamonds are excellent to ideal, allowing maximum brilliance and fire. Nearly all of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, providing exceptional brilliance. The table percentage for these diamonds, meaning the width of the table compared to the diamond’s total width, is 60-75%, and the depth percentage, or total height of the diamond compared to its total width, is 65-78%. These excellent proportions allow angles that break light into rainbow colors, producing the dispersion or fire that makes diamonds so alluring. ... Read more

This diamond has great brilliance and sparkle. Unlike the promotional quality offered by many retailers, which often have visible inclusions and opaque or yellow-brown color, these diamonds are near colorless, with a minimum color rating of I, and appear white to the eye. They have a clarity rating of at least I1, meaning there are small inclusions that are difficult to see with the unaided eye.Set in mountings, the diamonds appear clean.

The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamonds, characteristics which determine their brilliance, are fair to good. Most of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, creating the deep brightness, or brilliance, that gives diamonds their special appeal. The table percentage for these diamonds, meaning the width of the table compared to the diamond’s total width, is 53-90%, and the depth percentage, or total height of the diamond compared to its total width, is 57-85%.Optimal table and depth percentages maximize a diamond’s ability to reflect and refract light, but they also require a great deal of the diamond to be cut away, leaving less carat weight. While the table and depth percentages here span a broader range than those of higher quality diamonds, they still allow the diamond to handle the light well, and they have the advantage of providing the largest size of diamond for the value. ...
