It is what it is.
There's really not much that can be said about a watch like this... it is what it is.If you're looking for a decent pocket watch with a clip, this one will fit the bill.

A few comments that might help:
1) The watch is actually pretty heavy.Surprisingly so. The clip is pretty cheap.
2) It's hard to push any of the buttons with just one hand.You'll almost always need to use both hands. If you do use one hand, you'll often end up pressing a wrong button while you hold it in the palm of your hand.
3) The analog and digital portions are not in any way linked together.The digital can say it's 3:15pm and the analog 6:45am.Whether that's good or bad is up to you.For me, it's a bit annoying, because I want them to match, exactly... but it's almost impossible to synchronize them.

Otherwise it's just a decent, nice looking watch!

I don't know about marathons, but I think it's great for dayhikes.I have a bad habit of not paying attention to when I left or how long I've been gone and don't like wearing a watch.You can clip it to your pack and keep track of how long you've been gone.You simply start the timer when you start off.If you've been walking for 3 hours, it'll probably take you around 3 hours to get back!That's easier than guestimating by the sun. ...
