Very pretty but very big
I bought these for my 4 year old daughter because she loves the color purple.Even though these earrings are listed under "children's jewelry," they are very big.Too big for her ears, so I am returning them.They are very pretty.The stones are nice and clear, but they are set very high.As a result, they stick out quite a bit.They really look more like adult-sized earrings than children-sized. ... Very pretty earrings ---
Although these are very pretty earrings at an excellent price, I didn't fare as well as the other reviewers as far as the size of the diamonds (mine totalled .71, over the minimum of .70). Thought I would pass this along, possibly preventing disappointment to a future purchaser. Clarity was H instead of I - diamonds appear absolutely clear, particularly welcome in a white gold setting. My listed retail was $2600. Nice packaging, would make a wonderful special gift.

Fantastic Earrings!
Bought these for Christmas and was extremely happy.Packaging is very professional with no Amazon markings.Similar to the other reviewer, the diamonds I received ended up larger (0.83), with better color (G-H), and slightly better clarity (SI1-SI2) than advertised.I did a fair amount of comparison shopping prior to purchase and these were the best diamonds I could get for the money.(Stores at the mall would charge >$1000).

Better than advertised
I purchased these earings as a gift to my wife for the holidays.She loves them.They are not large diamonds, but the quality makes up for it.I received the IGI certificate that states the two diamonds are larger and better in quality than advertised.I'm not sure if it was luck, but they look great and they are the right size for her to wear every day.

Even though they are not large, I can definitely tell they are not costume diamonds. I can see them sparkle from across the room.

My opinion on the platinum mounting and secure screw backs is that they are an absolute necessity for earings like these, the diamonds are not something you would want to lose.The diamonds are so colorless I feel a yellow gold mounting would detract from the white sparkle.

I checked other mall retail jewelry sites begining with a "Z" and a "K" before going buying. Those stores offered lower quality for higher prices.I recommend these earings for the quality, the price, the 30 day return policy, and Amazon quality service as usual. ... Read more
