Very disappointed: no barrel clasp, bad value
(I ordered this bracelet direct from the vendor, not through Amazon) I was specifically shopping for a solid rope bracelet with a barrel clasp rather than the lobster claw. The bracelet pictured shows a barrel claw, and I even called Alle Jewelery to confirm that it would be guaranteed to arrive as shown with a barrel clasp and not a lobster clasp.Because of experience shopping for this item in the past, I know rope bracelets with the barrel clasp cost more, so I was willing to spend more.

When I received the bracelet it had the lobster claw clasp. I called Alle and they said that their vendor was no longer making any bracelets with the barrel clasp.I explained that I could have gotten the same bracelet with the lobster claw for less elsewhere, or that I could have gotten a thicker heavier chain for the same money, and that I was very disappointed.I asked if they would give me a discount on the bracelet based on market value of the bracelet and the rep. I spoke with said her hands were tied, and that all I could do was mail back the bracelet for a credit. I told her it would be a waste of time and money for me to mail back a $49 bracelet.

I feel disappointed and ripped off.At least the gold rope is solid, not hollow and cheap like many cheaper bracelets I've seen in discount stores.I'll never order jewelry online again. ... Read more
