I love the Modernist/Liberty/Nouveau/Secessionist art movements at the end of the 19th century--full of curvy, organic shapes and forms; naturally I was attracted to these earrings.

First, I looked at all of the items from "Women Want Jewelry;" in fact, I think I have them memorized. Then I asked my questions, and then I made the purchase. I admit that I haven't yet seen the earrings, as I have only just placed my order.

However, I did want to mention the very nice service I received before the sale, during the sale (& I am sure, after the sale). I had so many questions about the jewelry, and "Women Want Jewelry" very patiently answered them all.

I also googled "spiritual properties" of the two gemstones used in these earrings. Garnet is believed to "stimulate QI/CHI (life-force) and one's imagination." I also read that it helps with the "flow of kundalini energy and one's sensuality." Peridot is said to hold "friendly, joyful energy" and to help "protect against jealousy and anger;" it was purportedly Cleopatra's favorite gemstone. Go figure.

I will post an update at a later date after I receive the jewelry, but I am sure that it will be beautiful!
